In the U.S. annually 2.6 million people suffers from some type of brain injury  whether as a result of trauma, stroke, tumor, or other illnesses. About  52,000 people die as a result of traumatic brain injury, and more than 5 million Americans who have suffered traumatic brain injury require assistance in performing day-to-day activities. As per reports, approximately 130,000 Americans die of stroke every year. The global brain injury drugs market can be divided into North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia Pacific, and Middle East & Africa. North America is expected to hold highest share of global market from 2018 to 2026 because of higher mortality rate accounting for 30% of all deaths due to brain injury. In addition, higher incidence of brain injury in regions such as Asia Pacific, North America, and Western Europe is expected to further drive the global brain injury drugs market.
